Now closing at 10pm

In keeping with the new Government guidelines, from the 24th September until further notice we will be closing the pub at 10pm – so the following timing adjustments will now apply to our service.

Service Times

The bar will be open from 12.00-10.00pm with last orders at the bar at 9.30pm.

We will serving food from 12.00 with last food orders at 8.15pm.

The new guidelines also extend the wearing of masks, meaning our team will be wearing masks and that all our customers must wear face coverings, except when you are seated at a table to eat or drink when they can be removed. If you leave your table for any reason then please remember your face coverings must be worn.

In these ever changing times we are as ever very grateful for your patience and continued support.

" stumbled across the Dorset Arms while in the area and what caught my eye straight away was the sight of oysters on the menu, not something you expect from a traditional pub tucked away in the middle of Sussex. Naturally, curiosity (and a love of good seafood) led me in.

I was genuinely impressed. The Mersey oysters were outstanding, fresh, briny, and as good as any I’ve had. In fact, I usually swear by the oysters at Smiths in Wapping, which are hard to top, but these were right up there.

The staff were polite, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food far exceeded expectations. If you are anywhere near the area, the Dorset Arms is absolutely worth a visit, especially if you’re an oyster lover."
